In this course, we are looking at all the 8 common variations of the Catalan Opening, a very solid opening which is mostly played by super GM's with only one goal, "To Win!" The Catalan is a chess opening where White adopts a combination of the Queen's Gambit and the Reti Opening. Sometimes, you will also see some English opening structures appear. The Catalan Opening is a strong way to start the game for both positional and tactical players.
